Pick your rental period and send a request — or book instantly where the owner has enabled instant booking. You're only charged once the rental completes.
Pick up and use it
Arrange pickup with the owner in messages. You document the gear's condition together at pickup and return.

Create your listing
Describe your gear, set a daily price and a deposit. It takes minutes, and keeping listings up is free.
Approve requests
You decide who rents your gear and when it's available. Reply to requests right from your inbox.
Get paid
Once a rental completes, the amount minus the platform fee is paid straight to your account via Stripe.
Transparent pricing
For renters
You pay the daily price the owner set — no hidden fees on top. Your card is only charged once the rental completes.
For owners
Ottuma takes a 10% service fee on the rental amount when a rental completes. It covers payment processing, deposit protection and support. No fixed costs — you only pay when you earn.
Deposits
The owner sets a deposit that is authorized on the renter's card when a booking is accepted — it is not charged unless the gear is damaged or not returned. After a safe return the hold is released automatically.
